Bumpdate: 34 weeks!

Yesterday I had my 34 week doctors appointment. All looks good! Baby is a mover and a shaker and my doctor had a hard time finding the heartbeat because he/she kept wiggling away. =) Not much longer to go!

How far along: 34 (almost 35!) weeks

Size of baby: Baby is about 17 - 18 inches long (about the length of an American Girl doll!) and weighs about 4 to 5 pounds, about the size of a butternut squash.

Total weight gain: 20 pounds

Baby's heart rate: 165

Stretch marks: None yet!

Morning Sickness: I said "so long" to Zofran a few weeks ago! Feeling good these days!

Gender: We don't know! Can't wait until we find out, we're getting more and more anxious to know!

Movement: Lots and lots of movement still. Baby is getting stronger and the jabs and kicks are starting to hurt!

Sleep: Sleeping pretty well but can't sleep in past 6:30 or 7. That's ok, though, because I usually get up at 7 anyways to be up before the kids get up at 7:30.

Cravings: Still craving my apples! Other than that my eating habits are pretty normal and my cravings have leveled off a lot.

What I miss: Being able to bend down easily and put my socks and boots on without a watermelon in my way!

Symptoms: Feeling pretty good this week! Still some lower back pain but keeping it under control with stretching and exercise.

What I'm looking forward to: Drew finishing up the tests he is studying for for Edward Jones so that he can be home more and we can get the last minute things ready for baby!

Isaiah and Eloise: The kids are doing great. We had a great visit with Drew's dad last weekend when he flew here from Florida for a few days. The kids had a blast with him and he helped out around here in so many ways, really giving me a break and blessing us!

Someone asked Isaiah today when the baby was coming and he replied, "When daddy goes on the airplane." Originally, Drew was scheduled to fly down to an Edward Jones training in St. Louis just two weeks before my due date and we prayed alot as a family that he would be ale to change his dates so that he wouldn't potentially miss baby's birth. He was, thankfully, able to change his dates but apparently we forgot to tell that to Isaiah. =) Isaiah is now certain that the baby is going to be a boy "just like him." We shall see if he is right!!!!!

Eloise is still totally in love with the baby and is always touching my belly. Here's a cute picture of her loving on her baby doll:

She loves to play mommy and I'm thinking she is going to love having her own real live "baby doll" at home!! I'm going to have to keep my eye on her around the new baby! We've been working on potty training this past month and she's doing great! No accidents for the past 7 days so looks like she may have said goodbye to day time diapers for good!

34 weeks!
And, 34 weeks with Isaiah (wearing the same shirt!)

    1. Aww, thank you! =) I think I am carrying slightly smaller this time too. We'll see if it's a girl! I can't wait to find out. We'll be happy either way but the suspense is seriously killing me!!!

    1. Thanks, Rebekah! I'm so glad he could switch his training around too. I really didn't want him all the way in St. Louis only to have me go into labor early like I did with Isaiah! We're so thankful we don't have to worry about that now! Now our goal is just to have baby stay in until March 14 when Drew takes his last test!!!!! I'll be 38 weeks then. Hope I can do it. =)

  3. Looking fantastic! So glad to read that you're feeling better. I lived on Zofran until about 6 months. Are you feeling nervous about juggling all three kids or do you think the spacing on ages is manageable?

    1. Thank you! Sorry to hear you lived on Zofran too. "Morning sickness" is NO fun! So glad to be off of it now! I'm not feeling nervous about 3 kids. I know there will be a time of adjustment and it will be hard for a few months as we settle into a routine and figure things out but after that I think we'll manage. =) I'm thankful for a great husband who is a great help to me (and is even more excited about the new baby than me!!!)! =)

  4. Just around the corner now! You must be super excited.

I agree with Kristen. It looks like you're carrying differently, which wouldn't have been as noticeable except you have on the same shirt! Maybe another girl in the family.

    1. We are getting super excited, Missy!!! You're right it could be just around the corner. Although I'm hoping I keep this baby cooking a little longer than my last (had him on the day I turned 37 weeks)! I'm 35 weeks today so could be only two more weeks left!!! Yikes!

I love the comparison of a butternut squash.. haha.. who doesn't love a butternut squash, do I hear a nickname for the new baby? baby butternut?
