Miss Olive: 9 Months

9 months old!
Olive is 9 months old! She is 3/4ths of the way to one year old! How in the world did that happen!?!?

This month Livy celebrated her first Christmas, moved to a new house, wore her first ponytail, and took her first step! Meema, Papa, Janae, and Adelynn (my parents and little sisters) came to visit over Christmas and Adelynn is currently staying with us until the end of January. Olive was unsure about them at first but quickly warmed up to them and is especially loving having Aunt Adelynn around to help take care of her.

Like seriously..... This girl with all her cute little faces has stolen my heart!

Height & Weight: Don't know her height but she's TALL! She weighs 19.4 pounds on our home scale.

Eating: Bye bye baby food!! These days we can't get Olive to eat much baby food. I have a whole cupboard full of it but she's decided to move on to bigger and better things. Her favorites this month include muffins, chicken, and green beans.
Always has her feet on the table... No matter what height we move the high chair to she always seems to be able to get her foot up there!!
This girl can down two pieces of pizza in one sitting, no problem!
Out to Indian with Meema, Papa, Mommy, and Daddy. She loved it and was such a good girl!
Sleep: Still waking up 1-2 times a night. It seems that as soon as she gets into a good sleeping routine things drastically change around here! But now that we've moved into our house, my parents have come (and gone), and things are beginning to settle into a routine around here, we are hoping that we can get her sleeping through the night again. She is currently sleeping in a pack-n-play in our room but her crib is set up in the room she will share with Eloise and soon we plan on moving her into her room!
Not quite sure about Meema tucking her into the car seat instead of Mommy.
Her first ponytail!!!!!!
Personality: Livy loves to smile and laugh. She is very perceptive and sometimes it almost seems like she can read your emotions. She is sensitive to loud sounds and when she sees others get hurt or cry she will cry also. She can sit perfectly still on your lap for the longest time or she can be all over the place crawling and walking along furniture as fast as she can. She is such a sweetheart and people are always commenting on either how cute or how good she is!

Olive was slurping up her spaghetti noodles and we were cracking up!

I walked away for a minute to put in a load of laundry and apparently Olive got super hungry and took matters into her own hands. What a mess this little episode made! Bath time for baby, chair, table, and floor!!

Milestones: Olive celebrated her first Christmas this month. Let's just say she's not a fan of Santa! =)

Oh well, there's always next year. =)
She is so close to walking. Like SO SO close. I thought she might be an 8 month old walker when she took her first step a few days before Christmas but she hasn't done anything more than stand and take a few faltering steps since then. She can stand up all on her own from a sitting position on the ground but she just stands there.... She can walk, she just doesn't have the confidence to know that she can yet! Lol! =) I guess she's just waiting to be a 9 month old walker like her mama was. =) Either way, walking is not for off for this little cutie!

Olive learned to say both Dada and Mama this month, although she says Dada far more often! Although she says her daddy's name more often, there is no denying it...... this girl is a MAMA'S girl!!!!!!

Isaiah and Eloise: Big brother and big sister are still lovin on baby sister! Livy loves on them too and always wants to be where they are. You should see her face when she sees her siblings. She lights up! I honestly can't imagine families that only have one child or children that grow up with no siblings! Although my children fight {PLENTY!!!!!} with each other, it makes it all worth it when they love on each other. Nothing in the world like it!!
Sisters!
I don't think Olive enjoyed posing with her brother as much as her brother enjoyed posing with her....
Those cheeks! Melt my heart!
